Johnson Matthey To Supply GPT 40 Hydrogen Purifier To Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) Group In Taiwan

WEST CHESTER, PA, June 29, 2006 Johnson Matthey Gas Purification
Technology (GPT) group, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of highly reliable bulk and point-of-use purifiers, announced today that they will be suppling a 30 Nm/hr GPT - 40 hydrogen purifier to Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) Group. Pionics Technology Corporation, Johnson Matthey's Taiwanese sales and service agent, obtained the sale.

CMO, headquartered at the Tainan science-based industrial park, is one of the leading manufacturers of thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCD) in the world. Founded in 1998, they have 15,000 employees. Their products include panels for notebooks, desktop monitors and televisions and they are the world's leading supplier of large-size LCD TV panels.
