(FOREPI) Awards Johnson Matthey Contract to Supply Three
Hydrogen Purifiers in Taiwan
WEST CHESTER, PA, October 19, 2006 – Johnson
Matthey Gas Purification Technology (GPT) group, a global leader
in the design, manufacture and distribution of highly reliable
bulk and point-of-use purifiers, announced today that they
have supplied three Model GPT-40 hydrogen purifiers capable
of flowing 30 Nm/hr to Formosa Epitaxy Incorporated (FOREPI),
headquartered in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
FOREPI (www.forepi.com.tw),
established in 1999, is a leading Taiwanese manufacturer of
InGaN LED wafers and chips. They are the only LED company in
Taiwan with the capacity to offer a full spectrum of products
including high power InGaN Blue, Green and Near-UV LED's. The
Johnson Matthey hydrogen purifiers, will supply ultrapure hydrogen
to the growing number of MOVPE reactors at this site.
Johnson Matthey's state-of-the-art
bulk hydrogen purifiers are capable of providing 99.9999999
percent pure hydrogen for wafer fabrication and they are the
technology of choice for epitaxy and zero-gas generators used
in the calibration of the most technologically advanced analytical
equipment.
