These custom designed units use Johnson Matthey Palladium membranes that are designed to process tritium by separating hydrogen isotopes, as well as impurities, from other gases over a large range of feed flows and gas compositions. Proven designs meet the requirements of U.S. Government facilities and utilize only tritium-compatible materials and components. Features include "inside out" or "outside in" gas flow design, robust techniques to bend and braze Pd/Ag alloy tubes in a variety of diameters and a design that provides an easy change-out of thermocouples and heaters.
